Campaign Minnesota has had significant
impact on our students lives--now and in the future.
- Funds available for scholarships and fellowships have
tripled
- Thousands more students are being helped
- Twice as many students study abroad thanks to expanded
opportunities and scholarships.
 During
Campaign Minnesota, two U of M students from the College of
Liberal Arts were named as Rhodes Scholars. When Molly Zahn,
religious studies, was awarded the scholarship in 2001, it
marked the first time in 24 years that a U of M student had
been so honored.
 Just
two years later, David Aaron Simon, political science and
global studies, also received the prestigious award, one of
only 32 given in the United States each year.
