Prior to joining the Foundation in 1999, Mimi served as Assistant Director of Development at The Saint Paul Chamber Orchestra. Previously, she spent 15 years in college admissions and was Director of Admissions at Scripps College in Claremont, California, before she and her husband moved to the Twin Cities. A native of Hong Kong, Mimi earned her B.A. in piano performance from Santa Clara University in California, and an Ed.M. in Higher Education Administration, Planning and Social Policy from Harvard University. She is an avid amateur musician and performs frequently as a solo and collaborative pianist.
