the University has announced the largest
effort in its history to raise scholarship support.

Nearly 7,000 of the 65,000 undergraduate and professional students
are now helped with scholarships created through gifts to the U of
M, up from 4,865 when the scholarship drive began.
"Student support will continue to be a top fund-raising priority and I am now committed to doubling the number of students helped compared with three years ago when the drive was launched," said U President Robert Bruininks.
Gives you a way to make twice the difference. Endowed scholarships provide support to students year after
year. To encourage new gifts, the University has created the President’s
Scholarship Match, which will double the impact of gifts for new endowed
scholarships.
